So I'm sitting here in class on Jaren's laptop that I decided to steal for the day, and I'm still SO bored. So while my instructor is giving us a lecture on the importance of evidence, I'm going to try and get some writing done. The only problem is, I can't get my brain to work. Ugh.

I shouldn't be up this early.

Okay, so as of today, I officially hate sumer school. Why the hell do we have to go to school today just to have tomorrow off?!?!

Anyway. In my first journal entry, I didn't really introduce myself. . .so uh. . .here it goes!
My name is Meg, and I'm 17. I live in Bakersfield, California, where a share a beautiful apartment with my gorgeous best friend, Jaren.
Music is a HUGE part of my life. Especially this absolutely amazing band called 30 Seconds To Mars [www.thirtysecondstomars.com]
I'm originally from Ireland, but I moved here with Jaren and my parents a little over a year ago. It has been so much fun, but I can't wait until next year rolls around and I turn 18 so I can go back home!!!

People always say you should be
yourself, like yourself is this definite thing, like a toaster, or
something. Like you can know what it is, even. But every so often,
I'll have like -- a moment, where being myself, and my life right
where I am is, like, enough.

And I think I'm at one of those moments. And it feels pretty good.
